What happens when a Grammy-winning artist builds a brand at the edge of fashion, block-chain, and identity?  Miguel launched S1C to create a decentralized, lifestyle-first platform for creative expression across physical and digital realms.

He needed a digital platform that could handle exclusive drops, premium commerce, and a creative community that met his high tastes and distinct style and creative direction.

Approach

Over a multi-year collaboration, I led UX and e-commerce strategy for S1C—from concept to launch. Knowing we were building for exclusivity and long-term creative expansion, I prioritized a boutique-style experience that scaled visually and strategically. I translated the brand’s futuristic vision into a premium Shopify storefront with tech-forward UX, luxe editorial design, fueled by aNFT exclusive community.

Design Decisions

  • Integrated NFT token access and community content in a seamless UI.
  • Prioritized performance and load speed to support traffic spikes from social and press.

Web3-native consumers expect exclusive, interactive, and value-driven experiences. Luxe design elevates perceived brand value critical when drops are limited and prices premium. Modular systems empower creative agility. Token-gating and community perks build loyalty and anticipation.

Outcome & Impact

S1C quickly became a cultural force in the Web3 space. The membership-based model kicked off with limited NFT drops, fast-selling product lines, and an artist-centric creative community.

Coverage from VeeCon and NFT Now positioned S1C as a visionary blend of lifestyle, music, and decentralized tech. With expanding product lines (homeware, jewelry, tech) and collaborative IRL/URL events, S1C continues to break conformity, inspiring creative freedom in Web3 and beyond.
